Tomato Sauce






Ingredients:

2 - 28 oz cans Huntz crushed tomatoes with basil
1 small can of tomato paste
3 tsp oregano
1-1/2 tsp basil
¾ to 1 tsp brown sugar
one large garlic clove, crushed.






Preparation:

Mix ingredients and bring almost to a boil.
Turn the burner to low and simmer slowly for an hour.



Use this sauce for all my recipies that call for tomato sauce, like eggplant parm and stuffed shells.

For Spaghetti sauce, add 1/2 lb of cooked hamburger or any meat you like!
